How Introverts Reconnect

Would you consider yourself an introvert or an extrovert? 🤔

For those who are introverts by nature & have acquired the skills & strategies to become an extrovert (because it’s needed) using these skill on a daily basis kept us sharp but with social distancing & mandatory quarantine, our extrovert skills are getting rusty.

Fun Fact ☝️did you know introverts make up an estimated 25 to 40 percent of the population?🤔

However, since COVID-19, quarantining & social distancing, introverts are in their happy place.

With this in mind I wonder......🤔how comfortable will we be once life returns to our new normal?

For those who have worked hard to gain extrovert skills (but are introverts at heart). Below are 3 basic tips you can do to prepare yourself for life outside of social distancing so your 1st social experience will not be intimidating.

1. At least once a week make sure you connect with someone outside of your family and inner circle that will force you to use and exercise your extrovert skills.

2. Journal your thoughts (for those of you who are writers & creatives this is easy) to stay in touch with your thoughts. One day you will reflect back on these events and be glad you documented your personal experience.

3. Ensure you continue to check on your strong good girlfriends and have a meaningful conversation with hearty laughs in between to pass the time.

As humans we all thrive on connections whether it’s a friend of one or a room of a thousand, we all need interpersonal relationships.

I encourage you to start with the above easy steps to keep us in shape as natural introverts with extrovert skill.
