A Day in The Life of the Everyday Woman- My Saturday To Do List

If you are anything like me the everyday woman who is a high achiever mother, midlifer woman, entrepreneur or empty nester, I’m sure your Saturday is James packed like mine. Running errands, house cleaning, self-care, #targetrun, girlfriend catch ups, etc. It’s all part of my Saturday.

So today, I’m sharing A Day in The Life of the Everyday Woman & the raw unfiltered truth of what it takes to be “US”.

Welcome to My Saturday To-Do List!
◦ Get ready for the day
◦ Random thoughts in the shower of how to know if you are lazy 🤔& how it impacts life dreams.....must research & expand this thought 💭 later today
◦ Remember the commitment I made to myself for the month of Feb to read my new book of prayers & devotionals for husband & kids
◦ Write my to-do list for the day while I make coffee
◦ Walk the dog who has patiently watched & waited for me to get my life together
◦ Walk outside & see bird 🦅 poop on car...tell myself to add car wash on my to-do list
◦ Coordinate “caregiving duties” with my sister for my Mom because that is our new normal
◦ Check emails while snarfing down turkey bacon I overcooked
◦ Decide to have my niece hang out with me for the day because that’s what a good Auntie does especially when you are an Empty Nester
◦ Do my Target 🎯 run because what is a Saturday without a Target run?😎
◦ Return all the 👖 pants I ordered online because I am a size bigger than what I really thought...I’m still an in-store shopper
◦ U-turn because I passed the car wash & see the line. Say to myself, great free time, let me check Instagram while I wait
◦ Still in line at the car wash- text a fellow #highachiever that needs words of encouragement because she made a bold life change that would test anyone’s self doubt
◦ Realize I am more efficient than I thought because I found the to-do list in my purse I wrote last night while watching #shedidthat on Netflix😳 & realize it doesn’t have any on my new to-do’s on it
◦ Drive home & come up with the brilliant idea to write this post because this is hilariously the real life of the everyday woman in pursuit of achieving the highest version of herself
